Peter the Great, Czar (Tsar or Caesar) of  Russia (1682 - 1725) c. 18th century - Rijks Museum of Art, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Peter took the countries of Western Europe as his model. He renamed Muscovy as Russia. Peter is also one of the great leaders who entrapped his own son in order to murder him.
