Jupiter" (formerly identified as Danae), c. 1767 by Jean Baptiste Greuze
(1725-1805) - Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, New York, USA.
NOTE: Jupiter or Zeus visited Danae in the guise of a shower of gold coins and
Aegina in the guise of fire. In either case, he impregnated both. Aegina
delivered Aeacus and Danae had Perseus.
