MOTHER is an idea rooted in NATALITY which points to NAIVE, NATIVE, NATION, NATIVISM, and NATIONALISM. Also note NATA, which in Spanish has

NURSe and NURTure point to NATure from which two meanings emerge concurrently - NATality or to beget
and to know - and more distantly KINdle, KINder, and kin. The ultimate roots of NURTURE, NATURE
and NATIVE are in GEN pointing to GENE, GENESIS and GENETICS.

Mammals start their NUTRITION by NURSING or SUCKING NUTRIENTS mostly by breast feeding. Note
that NUTRIO also means to educate. As infants grow, they also get educated and expand their NUTRITIO.
After
infants learn to SIP on SOAKed foods, they can eat SOUPs for SUPper. As infants SUCK, SIP and IMBIBE larger
volumes of SAP or juices, they tend "to be wet" due to profuse urination. Note
that NURICE, NURT, and NYRKA
in French and Ukrainian link "WET NURSE" with stream and KIDNEY. Adults, according to some views, are those who
can NURTURE the NATURE of another and in vernacular adults are "all
wet" when they childish ideas.

SAVVY nurses know that NATURALLY SAPID foods NURTURE better that inSIPid alternatives.
Savvy and SAVANTS point to SOAP and SAPonines which help to SOAK
babies to clean their skin. Mothers achieve this by SOAKing babies in
waters softened by SOAP or other SAPonines.
Only few SAVVY children will become SAVANTS but, everybody should learn how to
SAVOR life and how to be SCIENT, that is, knowledgeable and
conscientious. In this regard, perhaps the advice by Marcus Aurelius needs stressing since
adults who wish to nurture another should ...
"Constantly regard the Universe
as one living being
having one substance and one soul ..."
