Instead of our usual emphasis on the origins of ideas found in word roots, our birthday gift to the United States (of North America) is to offer a gallery of paintings by artists with deep feelings for our country. We hope viewers will experience an unspoken dialog with the subjects perpetuated by the artists that will enrich their own ideas about the United States.
