Caraf Karaf Karyotype Chromosome Carpus Carpe

I report a
PHENOMENAL
PHENOMENA related to the
PHENOTYPE and
GENOTYPE of
ORGANISMS each
ORGANIZED quite differently

As I was gazing at a
CARAF
GARRAFA
GARAF or a decanter with wine
I was transported toward ideas concerned with
CHROMOSOMES as
VESSELS that decant and preserve the
GENOME and
GENES of
SPECIFIC
SPECIES

The intermediate stops are too many to explain
"here and now" or "at this point in time" as
politicians would say but in brief,
CARAF, GARAF led to
GIRAFFE, the animal mistakenly thought
to store water. Next came ideas linking
vessels for water and for navigation that were
made of skin or leather or
shKIRA in Ukrainian or Greek
KERAS
KERATOSIS related to scarab or
sKARAB leading to
KORABEL in Ukrainian for ship -
I skip ideas linked with
CARABELA or
CARAVELLE or FRIGATE and
KARAK or CARAC except to note CARAVAN and
CARACOL Spanish for snail and with
KIRAT or pod or husk which evokes
KERATIN or CORN or horn like skin and
CARPUS or stone like wrist bones alike to
KERNEL and
CARP which prompts
CARPE DIEM and its finale
"quam minimum credula postero"
(enjoy the day but ...
trust tomorrow as little as possible).

The next domain concerns
CARPOLOGY or the study of fruits or SEEDS or
KERNELS and Mr. Gregor Mendel (no degree) who
GENERATED
GENIAL ideas regarding
GENETICS and
GENES - Mendel knew the nuclei or seeds of
KARPOS or
KARYON or fruits were unique and now we know that
KARYOTYPES or chromosome patterns are
SPECIFIC to each
SPECIES

Finally,
CARP and
CARPES bring forth
SCRUPLES since we know well how little stones or
CARPES in our shoes make us stop and ponder
our actions or perhaps
CARP at others who act as if
UNCONSICOUS or without
CONSCIENCE - being realistic we also know that
ECONOMIC gain provides reasons to ignore
SCRUPLES particularly since a single
SCRUPLE weights 20 grains of cereal and one
KARAT weights only four grains or 0.26 grams.
