"El bufon don Sebastian de Morra" c. 1643 by Diego Velazquez. (An instance of achodroplasia which does not impede brain development). This gentleman served the Infant Cardenal don Fernado who died and following which he entered the service of the Prince Baltasar Carlos (who also employed another individual with achodroplasia, depicted by Velazquez). The prince included Sebastain de Morra in his last will - Prado Museum, Madrid, Spain. D. Velazquez also painted a third individual with achondroplasia.
